Plain Biryani Rice
NO NEED OF CHOPPING,GRINDING AND NO NEED OF VEGETABLES ALSO,TASTES GOOD WITH CHICKEN GRAVY,MUTTON GEAVY AND VEG-KURMA.
INGREDIENTS:
Basmati rice

Method:
- Wash and Soak rice for 5-10minutes,Heat Oil/ghee in a kadai,add all the spices and fry them till it fragrant.
- Add 1 chopped onion,chili’s and fry them until it turns golden colour,Add Ginger Garlic paste,fry it till it fragrants.
- Add tomatoes,salt,turmeric,fry till tomatoes turn soft and pulpy,add redchilipowder and fry for a minute,add mint and coriander leaves saute for a minute.
- Add 1 ¾ th cup of water and bring it to boil,adjust salt,red chili powder,then add rice and cook till very little water is left.
- Cover the lid tightly,and cook till the rice is done.
- GARNISH THE RICE WITH REMAINING FRIED ONIONS.
- SERVE HOT WITH KURMA/CHICKEN /MUTTON
NOTES:
- You could vary the amount of water based on your rice.
- Rice should be soaked atleast for 5 minutes.
