PRAWNS PULUSU/ROYYALA PULUSU

INGREDIENTS:


Prawns
500 Grams
Onions
2
Tomato
2
Curry Leaves
Few
Tamarind Paste
5Tsps
Mustard seeds
1tsp
FenuGreek Seeds
1tsp
Salt
As Desired
Red Chili powder
4-5 Tsp
TurmericPowder
2tsp


METHOD:

  • Shell and De-vein the prawns and wash well with water.
  • Add Salt,turmeric powder,Cook them with water until all the water evaporates.

  • Heat oil in a kadai,add fenugreek seeds,mustard seeds,fry it until it tempers.add chopped onions,fry it for 4-5 minutes.add curry leaves stir it, now add tomatoes cook until it turns soft.
               

  • Add extracted tamarind juice with 2 cups of water,now add desired salt and red chili powder and allow it to cook.

  • Now add cooked prawns and allow it to cook and gravy turns thick.(it takes less time and water as prawns are already cooked)
DELICIOUS PRAWNS IS READY TO EAT.


NOTE:


You Can store the cooked  prawns with salt and turmeric and can be used when ever required.
