METHOD:
- FIRSTLY GRIND CASHEWS AND CURD IN TO A FINE PASTE.
- CLEAN AND WASH PEAS AND PRESSURE COOK IT FOR 2 WHISTLES,AND KEEP IT ASIDE.
- HEAT 1 TSP OIL IN A KADAI, ADD ALL THE INGREDIENTS UNDER “TO GRIND” AND SAUTE IT UNTIL TOMATOES TURNS MUSHY.
- COOL IT AND GRIND IT IN TO A FINE PUREE.
- HEAT BUTTER AND REMAINING OIL IN A KADAI,ADD CLOVES,CINNAMON,CUMIN ALLOW IT TO SPLUTTER,ADD ONIONS AND SAUTE IT UNTIL IT CHANGES TO SLIGHT BROWN COLOUR.
- ADD GRINDED CASHEW PASTE,AND GIVE A QUICK STIR.THEN ADD GRINDED PUREE AND SAUTE IT.
- THEN ADD RED CHILI POWDER,SALT. ADD REQUIRED WATER AND BRING IT TO A LOOSE CONSISTENCY.
- ALLOW IT TO BOIL FOR 2MINUTES.
- THEN ADD COOKED PEAS AND COOK FOR 5 MINUTES,THEN ADD GARAM MASALA POWDER,AND COOK FOR 2 MINUTES.
- ADD KASOORI METHI AND MIX IT WELL AND TURN OFF STOVE.
- SERVE HOT WITH PULKAS/CHAPATI
