RAVA KESARI

Yummy rava Kesari is easy to prepare!! In occasions and for Pooja also..

INGREDIENTS:

Rava
1cup
Sugar
1 1/4 cup
Water
21/2cup
Ghee
1/2 cup
Food colour
Pinch
cashews
few

Method:
  • Heat one tsp ghee in a Kadai,add rava and roast it for 5minutes it turns to golden colour and gives a nice aroma and keep it aside.
  • Heat one tsp ghee in the same Kadai fry cashews and keep it aside. 
  • Dilute food colour with water and keep it aside.
  • Heat water in the Kadai,add sugar and melt it,then add roasted rava slowly keep stirring while adding rava.
  • Add diluted food colour,lastly add fried cashew and ghee.
Notes:
While roasting rava should be very careful by stirring it continuously.
