CHAKERA PONGALI
FESTIVE SPECIAL TASTY CHAKERA PONGALI!! IS EASY TO PREPARE AND TRADITIONAL DISH PREPARED IN ALL SOUTH INDIAN HOUSES.

Method:
- Heat 1 tsp ghee in a kadai ,add cashews and dry coconut and fry it until golden colour and keep it aside.
- Wash and soak rice and pesarapappu atleast for 10 minutes before preparing.
- Heat water in a wide vessel,allow it boil for 2 minutes,add pesarappu and allow it cook,at this time i added 2 tsp ghee.
- Then add rice and cook it,add sugar on the top layer and keep it for 2 minutes donot stir at this time for 2 minutes.
- After 2 minutes stir it and mix well,add fried cashews,coconut,elachi,remaining ghee and mix well and cook for 5 minutes
Tasty Chakera pongali Is ready to eat!!
NOTES:
ADDING MORE GHEE GIVES GREAT TASTE...
