TAPALA CHEKALU
This is a South-Indian Snack popular among Andhra Pradesh ,made with rice flour as main ingredient. The speciality of this dish is its unique way of cooking over on inside base of aluminum utensils covered with a plate filled with some water to allow steaming effect inside,But i prepared this using Tawa.

Method:
- Soak ChanDal before preparing,Grind Green chili,Onion In To A Fine Paste.
- MIx Rice Flour,Salt,Soaked Chana dal,Grinded Paste,Jeera,Curry Leaves and Water In To A Dough.
- Make Dough In To Small Balls,and Gently Press Spreading The Ball With Your Fingers.
- Heat a Kadai or Small Frying Pan With Oil,Place It On Tawa Add Oil On It , Close It Using A Plate,And Fry It On Both Sides.
- Remove It Until it Turns Light Brown Colour.
THEY ARE READY TO SERVE.
NOTES:
- The dough should not too thick or too thin just a little thicker than chapati.
- Add slowly and mix till a nice soft dough forms.
