"INDO-CHINESE VEG FRIED RICE"


“INDO CHINESE VEGETABLE FRIED RICE” THE NAME ITSELF TELLS THAT IT’S A CHINESE ITEM AS WELL AS INDIAN.WHICH IS TASTY AND CAN BE PREPARED IN LESS TIME.



INGREDIENTS:


RICE
3 CUPS
CARROT CHOPPED
1/4 CUP
FRENCH BEANS CHOPPED
1/4 CUP
SOYA SAUCE
1TSP
VINEGAR(OPTIONAL)
1TSP
PEPPER POWDER
2TSP(AS REQUIRED)
GINGER CHOPPED
FEW 5-6
GARLIC
6-7
SALT
AS DESIRED


METHOD:
  • SOAK RICE IN WATER FOR 30 MINUTES.
  • COOK THE RICE WITH 4-5 CUPS OF WATER,ADD LITTLE OIL AND SALT TO IT,DO NOT OVER COOK THE RICE LET IT COOK TO THE3/4TH LEVEL AND DRAIN THE REMAINING WATER IF ANY.
  • COOL THE RICE AND KEEP IT ASIDE.
  • HEAT OIL IN A KADAI,ADD CHOPPED GINGER,GARLIC AND SAUTE IT,THEN ADD CARROT AND FRY FOR A FEW SECONDS FOLLOWED BY BEANS.
  • VEGETABLES SHOULD BE SAUTED IN HIGH FLAME AND CONTINOUS STIRING IS NECESSARY,SO THAT THE VEGETABLES SHOULD BE CRUNCHY AND NOT OVER COOKED.
  • ADD COOKED RICE AND MIX IT,THEN ADD SOYA SAUCE,VINEGAR,SALT PEPPER AND MIX WELL AND SERVE HOT.

NOTES:
  • BASMATI RICE CAN BE USED WHICH IS MORE TASTY AND COLOURFUL,I USED HERE IS NORMAL RICE.
  • THE WHOLE PROCEDURE SHOULD BE DONE ON HIGH FLAME.
  • ADDING MORE VEGETABLES IS OPTIONAL LIKE CABBAGE,CAPSICUM,GREEN PEAS,POTATAO.
  • AJINOMOTO CAN ALSO BE USED,I SKIP THIS BECAUSE IT IS HARMFUL.
